Release Date: 26th May 2009
26 May 2009 marks the general release of ‘The Wired EP’ by Sheffield’s leading purveyor of red-hot underground house D Ramirez, on Slave Recordings. Both original tracks ‘Wired’ and ‘Road Of Excess’ feature the vocals of LDV, a mysteriously anonymous star, also from the steel city. Remixes come courtesy of house and techno veteran Rob Babicz and D. Ramirez himself.

Some of the tracks include Pleasure Me, La Discotek, Wired, Satur8 and Nitr8.

Over the course of his career, D. Ramirez has established himself as a leader and innovator in creating cutting-edge dance music setting his sights on much higher prizes than to rule any dusty sub genre. "D. Ramirez Remixed" features remixes by some of the hottest producers in dance music today including Darren Emerson, Caged Baby, Paul Wooldford, Robert Babicz and Jamie Stevens among others. THE NITR8 E.P - D. RAMIREZ

D.Ramirez delivers a superb solo single in “Nitr8”, backed with a remix from the always on-point Paul Woolford. The release features two original cuts from D.Ramirez, ‘Nitr8’ and ‘Devi8or’, which are prime examples of the powerful, muscular sound the British producer extraordinaire has made his trademark in recent years. ‘The Nitr8 E.P again shows why D.Ramirez is not to be ignored and gives further insight into why artists as disparate as Matt Tolfrey and Underworld are clamouring to work with him.

--- Pete Jordan IDJ (Warehouse page)
"It’s important that D Ramirez music is reviewed in the warehouse section. His early forays into breaks, electro, tech house and techno has paved a way for many to follow in a genre-defying fashion. Although his sound is much more focused these days, you can play one of his tunes in most sets and get dancefloor kudos. A great release, further sweetened by a superb Paul Woolford remix, this is an essential release! 9 out of 10
